Ryugujo Butterfly Garden

Located in Nago City - northside of Okinawa.
Has beautiful gardens of exotic flowers. The butterfly house houses the largest Japanese Butterfly the Paper Kite or Rice Paper Butterfly.

I finally where some bright colors and now I have become a butterfly landing pad. Even my backside is not off limits.

2 months in Okinawa and Espe has turned into a Japanese farmer. : )












I miss the states. NOT!
But I do miss my friends and family!

We had to stop to eat lunch after so much fun in the sun.



I am not sure how taco rice got to Okinawa but it is a specialty here and is on most menus on the island.






The girls stick to having Okinawa Soba (soup with noodles, green onion, ginger, fish cake and pork)















Taste testing seaweed noodles and broth! Suprisingly good!
Slurping your noodles and soup is acceptable practice here in Okinawa.










This Japanese table with the hole in floor is called a - horigotatsu
